Archery SUCCESS
ABOUT ME
I have to confess I am addicted to archery. My love for the sport began 20 years ago when some local archery club members walked into a park meeting I was attending and introduced us to the sport of archery. I couldn't resist the invitation to come to the club and learn about it. It was love at first shot and it still is today.

I have supported the NASP (National Archery in the School Program) for more than nine years as a line official and in helping set up their ranges for regional, state and world tournaments. I co-coached with a local elementary school for four years and am now serving local schools who would like assistance in getting their archery programs going.
I love teaching archery!

I compete in local, regional and national tournaments. I currently hold the South Carolina SCAA state record 2018 in the Vegas round for Master Senior Women. I have won at The Vegas Shoot in NFAA archery and also have some top wins with ASA in 3D archery.
I currently shoot a Hoyt Hyper Edge and also a Hoyt Defiant for 3D archery. I am learning recurve archery and have a Hoyt Horizon recurve.

I would love to show you what archery is all about. I teach individuals of all ages in both private and group settings. You tell me what you need and I will do my best to help you achieve your archery goals.

Basic Archery Lessons
Be Brave Be a Wild Child
I started saying this phrase a few years ago. I had a young child came to me for lessons and he was afraid. He hid behind his mom and said, " I don't want to be here." I knew he was scared. We all get scared trying something new and even worse is the fear of failing while someone we don't know is watching. Well I walked up to him and introduced myself and said "why don't you come see the range. You can shoot one arrow and if you don't like it, you won't ever have to do it again."
He agreed. An hour later his whole face was lit up with excitement. He became confident and the next day when he came into the archery shop he left his mom out in the parking lot and excitedly said, "Miss Beth! I'm here for my lesson!" He was a wild child born with the bow in his hand.
The transformation was immediate and it stayed with him. This is when I knew this was what I was meant to do with my life. Show people what they are capable of, reaching their full potential not only in archery but in life. Archery will teach you more about yourself than you can imagine.
Be Brave, Be a Wild Child.
